Décor Consultation
Every project starts with an in-depth client consultation & initial site measurements (if permitted). During the onsite consultation, we will measure the project spaces, evaluate the lighting, noting the placement and size of windows, doors and molding within a room. We will also review your client questionnaire to align on your preferences regarding the project.
Investment: $150 for up to two hours
Complimentary for projects over $3,000. Due to the pandemic, we are only accepting virtual consultations at the moment. We appreciate your understanding and please stay safe.
Interior Decorating
At House of Smith Interiors we provide clients with a personalized interior decorating experience with the mission to bring your décor vision to life. We will discuss your style preference, scope, budget and timeline. We will also provide you with a design concept to visually display the fresh new look for your space.
The interior decorating service includes:
- Project Proposal
- Custom Design Concept
- Space and floor planning
- Purchasing / Shopping Services (project dependent)
- Installation Coordination
Investment: starting at $600/room
Shopping Services
We know that purchasing furnishings from several retailers at one time can be frustrating, so allow HOSI to be at your service to purchase your project furnishings for you! This will give you the peace of mind that the right items are purchased and allows you to enjoy the trade discounts we have with several major retailers.
Investment: 25% of total furnishing cost
E-Design
Don’t live in the Southeast Michigan area? Not to worry, we got you covered. E-Design services are perfect for clients that are not local but desire the look of a professionally decorated home.
The E-Design process includes submitting the client questionnaire, including any visual boards, visual inspiration, videos and photos of your space. Once that is submitted and completed, we will review together via a virtual consultation to align on direction. Our team will then start creating your color scheme options, design concept rendering, and an online link sheet to purchase your items. Please note: House of Smith Interiors can also purchase the desired furnishings for a fee.
The general turnaround time is 4-6 weeks. Once the service is booked we will reach out to initiate the project. Please fill out the questionnaire along with your deposit for booking. The remaining balance will be due at the completion of the project. We look forward to working with you!

Home Staging Services
We offer home staging services to both homeowners and real estate agents that need to sell their homes for a premium and quickly. During our initial consultation, we will discuss where you are in the process of selling and what sort of feedback you’ve received (if the home is already on the market). We will provide feedback and ideas to maximize the home’s best features and get it ready to sell.
We take an innovative approach to home staging. We work with furnishings that are in the home and redesign each space to give it a fresh look that is ready to sell. If necessary, we can purchase additional accessories via our personalized shopping services to tie everything together. First impressions are so important - our goal is to create a warm, welcoming space that potential buyers can visualize themselves living in, and to help you sell your home as quickly as possible.
Investment:
- Consultation - $150 up to 2 hours
- Staging Installation - $100/hour
- Shopping Services – 25% of total furnishing cost
